Heinitzburg pays wonderful attention to detail, everything from the four-poster beds to the hand made wooden furniture is perfect. The personal attention you receive from your host is also something special. Accommodation is in 17 spacious, generously appointed en suit rooms, each with its own superb view. |

HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: The restaurant, Leo's at the Castle, is probably the top eatery in Namibia. The views from the balcony overlooking Windhoek are spectacular. And cocktails at sunset are a popular diversion. If you're looking to spoil yourself (or someone special) this is the place to stay.
The terrace at Heinitzburg is very popular for sundowner drinks however it is worth finding out which time they stop serving, as in a display of lunacy last order are often taken about an hour before sunset. Anyone arriving after this time will find it impossible to order a drink.
