DESCRIPTION : Imbabala is nestled into the riverine fringe on the banks of the Zambezi, with 14Kms of private river frontage, and offers the opportunity for some of the best game viewing and bird watching in Zimbabwe

Bordered by Chobe, this area is renowned for it’s large herds of elephant, buffalo and other animals that concentrate along the banks of the Zambezi

ACCOMMODATION : The rooms take the form of comfortable thatched chalets accommodating a maximum of 18 guests ensuring individual attention and service.

ACTIVITIES :

* Drifting safety down the river in a specially designed pontoon boat, while hundreds of elephant come down to drink and bathe in the river has to be one of the most amazing of experiences in Zimbabwe

* Birding. The variety of birds that are attracted by the papyrus reeds that border the Zambezi is exceptional
* 4x4 game viewing safaris in the Lodge's own concession
* Walk stealthily through the bush led by an armed professional guide
* Go fishing (available on request - fishing guide at extra cost)
* Make excursions into Victoria Falls or Chobe National park or camp overnight an Kazuma National Park (extra cost)

One of the joys of Imbabala Lodge is the fact that you can get out on a flat-floored pontoon craft for game cruises, on open vehicles and walks in search of game and birds.
